Then you need to know about three upcoming holidays!!
☆Friday 18th April (Good Friday)!!!
☆Monday 21st April (Easter day)!!!
‘Good Friday’ and ‘Easter Sunday’ are religious and statutory public holidays in New Zealand.
Many Christians remember Jesus Christ’s crucifixion on Good Friday, and also remember Jesus Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday.
So there are going to be 4 days off work and then only 3 days back at work because
☆Friday 25th April (Anzac Day) is another public holiday!!!
‘Anzac Day’ commemorates the landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at Gallipoli, Turkey, during World War I in 1915.
This event, also observed in Australia, remembers all New Zealanders who served their country in wars and conflicts.
So now you have the time off, what are you going to do to have some fun?
Did you know that this period often marks the end of Summer in New Zealand and so many people get out of the cities.
Do you want to travel as well?
Then get in quickly!! because buses, trains and planes will be very full!!
If you want any advice on trip, you can take you can ask us at INTERNeX, maybe rent a car or take a bus trip, we can help you book it.
Even if you are sitting in your pyjamas at home, let us know and we can help book anything for you.
One reason people like to get out of town is because many of the bars and clubs have to close during Easter.
Don’t make plans to meet at bars on the Friday as they will all be shut.
Some places that have special Events licenses or serve food are open, otherwise get to the bottle shop on the Thursday and buy your drinks early and drink from home.
If you want to go out to a big Party, then ‘Deep Hard n Funky’ has an awesome line up of DJ’s and usually has about 5000 people going.
It is at the racecourse in Auckland.
Note that And Buses and Trains service will change because of these holidays.
